Our evening sewing workshops are perfect for adults of all ages and abilities who want to learn in a relaxed, inclusive, and fun environment.
* Sewing Foundations – Perfect for Total Beginners

In this relaxed introduction to sewing, you’ll:

Learn to confidently thread and use a sewing machine (plus plenty of handy tips!)

Hem trousers neatly (warning: your family may start asking you to hem theirs—keep it between us!)

Watch a demonstration of the most common mending techniques

Make a stylish Lido Tote Bag (as featured in TAUKO magazine) using a vintage pure wool blanket
Perfect for complete beginners or anyone wanting a refresher. You’ll leave confident, equipped, and inspired to keep sewing at home.

If you’ve completed Sewing Foundations or already know the basics, this class is for you! You’ll:

Troubleshoot and care for your sewing machine

Learn how to use a zipper foot

Read and sew from commercial paper and PDF patterns

Make a practical Bum Bag and take home the pattern & tutorial to sew again later
You’ll leave with new skills, a handmade accessory, and the confidence to tackle your own sewing projects.
